Electronic | Punk

Self-described as “cheap synth punk,” the available tracks from the solo project of Seattle-based musician Nat Mooter consist of just a few elements Mooter’s voice (often harmonizing with himself), a pre-programmed beat, a simple keyboard line. But this is hardly basic music: It’s morose, occasionally beguiling electro-pop that should appeal to anyone who’s ever swooned to Bauhaus or Suicide.
